This series contains sports news released by the Office of Communications and Public Affairs. Prior to 1982, sports news was collected as a part of News Releases. Sports news releases have traditionally been, and continue to be, printed on green paper. This series includes results of athletic contests, team rosters, news of individual players and coaches, and team and individual records. The statistics are compiled by the Sports Information Intern.
