Small almanac for 1846 belonging to Captain Jason Collins, engineer on the Sidewheel Steamer, Huntress. The almanac's diary pages for the year contain daily entries written by Collins. The steamer's main port was on the Kennebec River near Gardiner, Maine. (includes leather case for diary).
