Material from Everett Pope’s time in the US Marine Corps can be found in the Military Service series (1939-2011). Much of the series is photocopies obtained by Laurence Pope while researching his father’s role in the Peleliu landing during the second world war, including operational reports, correspondence, and military personnel files.
