Scope and Contents

The Correspondence series (1936-2014) contains a large collection of professional and personal correspondence including holiday cards and organizational letters. Correspondence with Bowdoin students has been kept in LaCasce’s original order, arranged by class year, and contains material on individuals along with letters. Correspondence is otherwise arranged by individual and chronologically and sometimes includes supplementary material from or about the sender with the letters. Additional departmental correspondence can be found in the Department of Physics and Astronomy series.
