Scope and Contents
Jan. 2, 1838, Jacob Pennell of Brunswick, Esquire, for $379 to James Pennell of Brunswick, Shipwright, a piece of land in Brunswick bounded, beginning at the shore of Middle Bay at a white rock, then NE 20 rods to the NE corner of land conveyed this day to Benjamin Pennell, thence NW15 rods to the center of the road, thence N by center of road 41 rods, then SE 40 rods, then SW 44 1/2 rods to Middle Bay, then by the shore of Middle Bay to first bounds 20 acres mroe or less, with all the privileges and appurtenances; Jan. 1, 1866. Agreement between Andrew Mitchel and William McLellan of Lisbon, and Capt. James H. Pennell of Brunswick, in consideration of $125 on or before Apr. 1, 1866, a good indenture of Lease of one half share of east half of Lots 18 and 19 in 8th range of land int he township of Oxford known as the Bennett Farm... party of the first part ot sink an Oil Well on said premises...
