This series is divided into two subseries: Books and Other Writings. The subseries Books, contains typescripts and original manuscripts from a number of Gould’s works, as well as negatives of pictures from New England Town Meeting: Safeguard of Democracy. This subseries also includes original elephant drawings, and other illustrations by Monica Griffiths, for The Elephant said, “Who?” The subseries Other Writings includes newspaper articles written for papers like The Times Record, along with other published works, and writings by Franklin T. Gould.
