This series includes photographs of Donald MacMillan at Bowdoin, Donald and Miriam MacMillan at events and on expeditions, many images of the schooner Bowdoin and the schooner Gertrude Thebaud, and various photos of expedition crew members.

The Peary-MacMillan Arctic Museum at Bowdoin College includes approximately 15,000 images taken by Donald B. MacMillan between 1908, when he was a member of Peary's North Pole expedition, and 1954, his last expedition to Greenland. Digitized selections are available via the Museum's Web Kiosk.
