Description:
Materials include records documenting Senate office activities from 1980 through 1994. Documents include financial records, vouchers, personnel files of staff members, interns, and pages, memos, office policies, and reports including data on constituent services. These records also include Mitchell's student transcripts, dating from the 1950s. The administrative staff was led by Donna Beck, office manager. She was assisted by Sally Ehrenfried during the 1990s.

Senator George J. Mitchell's Senate office in Washington, D.C., was managed by administrative staff who attended to the day-to-day operations of the office, coordinated legislative work and constituent services, and managed the general work flow of Mitchell's Senate office, the Senate Majority Leader office and the field offices in Maine.
