Scope and Contents
From S. Silsbee at Calais. Asks brother Benjamin to publish him in Bangor so that he may marry Miss Harmon on Dec. 25th. Supposes that Benjamin will receive this on Tuesday evening at Bangor. He expects 2 day (Wed-Fri) return service also. Suggests that he should dissolve his connection with the seminary. He opened school with 15 scholars. He received books on the "Rival" from Bangor. The letter is held 1 more day and Benjamin now will not receive same until Wednesday evening. Letter was held until Wednesday and he decides to have his name published in Calais.
