From S. Silsbee at Calais. Understands that S. Johnson is to take the academy at Mechisses and will be under the influence of Mr. Stone. He does not know how many scholars he will have. He finds the people "very fickle". He desires that Mr. Morse would send him some numbers of the Decomcratic review.
