From S. Silsbee at Calais. Travelled to Dennysville to locate his missing baggage. The travelling is so bad the mail came in on horse back. Says there is a small packet which runs between "here and Bangor" that "you can send things to me." Mentions Grahaminite philosophy. $25 to travel from Bangor to "here" by stage.
