Series Description:
This series contains interagency correspondence as well as correspondence between citizens, environmental organizations, legislators, and consultants regarding the possible construction of a dry cargo terminal on Sears Island. Also included in this series are reports from consulting firms exploring the feasibility of construction of the port as well as the alternatives, testimonies for and against construction, notes and minutes on interagency meetings, information provided by various organizations and invested citizens, and newspaper clippings, press releases, and letters-to-the-editor.
